Cafe Assistant

Location: Coram’s Fields, 93 Guilford Street, London, WC1N 1DN
Hours: Hours will vary throughout the year in line with the cafe’s busier periods and will include one weekend day and school holidays.

We are pleased to be recruiting to the role of Cafe Assistant. As Cafe Assistant, you will work to maintain, sustain and develop our vibrant coffee, food and drinks service operation, which forms a much-loved part of our park and playground.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • To prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, food, snacks and ice cream to customer specifications.
  • To maintain excellent customer relations with clear communication at all times.
  • To ensure the cafe is opened and closed in line with procedures when working solo or with other team members. 
  • To undertake daily food hygiene checks and comply with food hygiene standards.
  • To ensure equipment, surfaces and all other ares are kept clean throughout shifts and at close.
  • To monitor the cafe’s public spaces and the immediate vicinity within the park and playground and work with our grounds team to ensure the safety and appearance of the cafe environment.
