Amid the hustle and bustle of thousands of other participants at the Royal Parks Half Marathon yesterday, 12 fantastic runners were donning their running shoes for Coram’s Fields, inspiring others to give generously to support children and young people living in central London.
It was a beautiful day to run along this route, which takes in Green Park, St James’s Park, Trafalgar Square, and Hyde Park, but this was no easy undertaking for individuals, who have spent the last few months and weeks training for this event. Their enthusiasm and dedication paid off, as all our runners managed to complete the event, cheered on by the gathered crowds.
We’re delighted that our supporters, Edwin Coe LLP and Payne Hicks Beach, each entered a team of runners, who have helped us to raise thousands of pounds by taking part in this popular challenge event
A huge thank you therefore, from all of us at Coram’s Fields, to Claire, David, Tim, William, Jim, Adam, Joe, Stuart, Nick, Tom, Josh and Kathryn. We’re incredibly grateful for your support.
