Over the autumn half-term a group of creative and talented young people from our Out of School Club here at Coram’s Fields, including members of the Out of School Club’s Kids’ Council, helped create and produce wonderful designs for the toilet doors in our Guide/ Band Hall corridor.
After coming together and brainstorming ideas with the help of our Youth Centre’s Arts Tutor, Becca, the group came up with three final designs for the doors lining the corridor (see below). Once the outlines had been sketched out onto the doors themselves the young people came together and collaborated in order to finely paint them in and breathe new life into the halls.
Thank you to all the young people who helped contribute to produce these amazing, decorative designs over the half-term and in the process take ownership of the space they use.
