We are delighted to be recruiting for a bright and ambitious Finance Assistant with a strong work ethic to join our finance function.

Our finance team plays a vital role in supporting both the organisation as a whole and each of our individual services, giving this role fantastic exposure to all aspects of charity finance. You’ll be working alongside two experienced Finance Officers, and the role forms an important part of our team succession plan.

For candidates who have strong numeracy and track record of commitment and achievement, no formal finance experience is required. This role offers extensive on‑the‑job learning and the chance to develop practical, hands‑on experience across a wide range of finance activities. Previous postholders have been supported to undertake formal training and AAT qualifications to accelerate their progression, once established and having demonstrated commitment to the organisation.

The role is equally well suited to someone with existing finance experience or relevant education who wants to broaden and deepen their practical skills, gain exposure to a variety of finance tools and processes, and take on more responsibility over time.

Whichever path you’re on, you’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team where you’ll be encouraged to contribute, grow, and develop professionally.

So if you’re motivated by the mission of supporting local young people and their families, and you’re interested in building your future in finance within a charity that makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply via recruitment@coramsfields.org.uk
