Over the summer, children from our Out of School Club were able to get involved in All Stars Cricket over seven weeks – a programme developed by the England and Wales Cricket Board – which is aimed at girls and boys aged 5-8. It’s a fun, first-time experience of cricket designed to develop children’s movement skills while learning to play the sport.
A massive highlight for us was that one of our Out of School Club children was selected to attend The Oval on Saturday 8th September to play a game of cricket ahead of the England vs India match, in front of thousands of people. A day that this young cricketeer will never forget!
