Location: Coram’s Fields, London, WC1N 1DN
Salary: London Living Wage currently 10.75 per hour
Hours Flexible by negotiation. Hours may vary at certain points during the year and will involve some weekend and evening work but a minimum of 10 – 15 hours a week.
Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with experience in the hospitality sector to become part of a team running the café facility at Coram’s Fields, a unique children’s park and playground, in the heart of Bloomsbury, London
Coram’s Fields is a large seven-acre open space for children, young people and their families, with facilities comprising large grassed areas and play-spaces, sports pitches and several children’s and youth services. It is a vibrant and diverse venue with a real sense of community and visitor numbers vary from several hundred every day to many thousands at large scale events.
We are looking for a hands-on, well organised, customer facing person, experienced in the café and restaurant sector, who enjoys creating a welcoming environment in which you take pride. You will become part of flexible and motivated team providing great coffee and refreshments, great customer service and meeting fluctuations in demand according to seasons, weather, park activities and events. There are also an opportunities to work on developing a catering service to users of various venues within the complex
