Hire our U5s Play Zone!
Our Under‑5s Play Zone is a bright, welcoming space designed especially for babies, toddlers, and their grown‑ups. It’s open as a free, drop‑in play session every weekday morning, but outside of these hours the space is available to hire for regular private groups.
Who is the U5s space right for...
Our Under 5s space is available to regular bookers on an exclusive use basis. Once you’re a regular, you’re very welcome to book extra ad‑hoc exclusive use sessions.)
Our U5s Play Zone is particularly suitable for:
- Childminders and childminding groups
- Baby yoga and baby movement classes
- Baby phonics and early language groups
- Parent meet‑ups or support groups that meet on a recurring basis
- Small early‑years activity or enrichment sessions
If you’re building a group or running regular early‑years sessions, our space is designed to make your life easy.
We’re sorry but we’re unable to accommodate one-off bookings (e.g. for Birthday Parties) or pay-per-place hire, and our space is only suitable for children under 5.
About the U5s space
- Two bright indoor play spaces (room 1: 8x7m; room 2: 10x7m)
- A fully enclosed, outdoor space (exclusive access, direct from the indoor space)
- A reception / welcome desk corner
- A wide selection of age-appropriate toys – you’re welcome to use anything that’s left out (toys may vary from time to time)
- Own dedicated U5s and parents’ toilets

Booking information
Standard bookings are a two‑hour session from 1:30–3:30pm.
If you need a longer session or you’re interested in weekend hire, just get in touch and we’ll do our best to make it work.
The cost is £100 per two-hour session

N.B. We are not yet up and running with U5s hire – by all means contact us about enquiries but we’re not quite ready to take bookings yet. Thanks in advance for your interest and your patience.
A few house rules...
- No food is allowed throughout the U5s area – this is to keep the area clean and minimse the risk of allergies. (If you’re with your child, you’re very welcome to use the cafe and eat/drink in the colonnades space, adjacent to the U5s area.)
- We are a shoe-free zone. Please leave your shoes at the entrance, though you’re welcome to bring and wear slippers or other indoor-only footwear.
- All hirers are responsible for safeguarding and safety of their guests – you must carry out a risk assessment and pre-session inspections to make sure the space and resources are appropriate and safe for the activities you’re planning. Any safeguarding concerns must be reported
- We want the space to be a clean and safe environment for small children. Please be sure to leave the room clean and tidy, as found.
- We don’t allow pets and animals in the park, nor are they permitted in the U5s zone.
- Please refer to our T&C prior to booking and using the space
