Volunteering days help us maintain and develop our grade-2 listed site, but we also need help with materials, consumables and running costs. So, in addition to donating your time and effort, we also ask you to make a financial donation to the charity. This maximises the impact your company has on our site, and on the lives of local young people. We can also provide food for your volunteering day on-site by our Café’s catering, and all proceeds go towards supporting our facilities and programmes for young people. A bespoke volunteering opportunity for small groups of up to 5 people.
‘Groundsperson for the Day’ allows volunteers to shadow our Grounds team, giving you a taste of what goes into maintaining our 7-acre park and surrounding buildings day-to-day to keep our site safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. Ideal for smaller corporate teams based locally, this model allows us to deliver a high-quality volunteering experience while ensuring the time and resources remain sustainable for our team.
Expect hands-on tasks that directly contribute to keeping the park the best for the child, while providing deeper engagement and a clearer sense of impact.
