We want our park to be a welcoming and safe place for children and families to enjoy. We’d rather not have lots of rules, and simply ask everyone to be considerate of others and respectful of the family-focused nature of the park. But we do have a few rules to help keep children safe:

  • “No adult entry without a child” – this is what we’re famous for – we’re a children’s park for young people under the age of 16.
  • Smoking (or vaping) is not permitted anywhere on the site.
  • No alcohol is permitted on the site during normal operational hours
  • Please don’t bring glass of any kind, including bottles, drinking glasses and other glass containers.
  • No animals, except trained and registered assistance dogs that support a person’s orientation and immediate safety. Only recognised assistance dogs are permitted, this does not include wellbeing dogs.
  • No cycling, except by young children using age-appropriate bicycles, balance bikes or similar ride-on toys.
  • No games or activities involving hard balls, projectiles or other objects that could cause injury to young children.
  • Please use respectful language and behaviour at all times.
  • Please wear clothing appropriate for a family-focused children’s park.
  • Photography and filming for personal use is permitted, provided the privacy of other visitors is respected. Commercial or public-use photography or filming requires prior permission – for more details, please see our Filming and Photography page and policy
  • No food or drink may be sold, supplied or otherwise provided on a commercial basis without the prior written consent of Coram’s Fields.
  • Please only use the U5s toilets on the East side of the park if under-5. Main toilets are on the West side.
  • Please report any hazards, safety concerns or accidents to the Front Office or a member of staff.
Main Park Exits
      1. The main park entrance / exit is on Guilford Street at the south of the site (the opposite side to the football pitches)
      2. If this safe exit is compromised, staff will direct you to the Brunswick Park Square gates at the north of the site (head towards and across the football pitches to the top left-hand corner of the site.
If you discover a fire, smoke, or smell burning:
      • Raise the alarm immediately by activating the nearest fire alarm call point or informing a member of staff.
      • Call 999 if it is safe to do so.
      • Leave the area immediately using the nearest safe exit.
      • Do not attempt to fight a fire unless it is very small, you are trained to do so, and it is safe.
If you hear the fire alarm:
      • Stop what you are doing immediately
      • Leave the site calmly via the nearest safe exit
      • Follow instructions from Coram’s Fields staff
      • Do not stop to collect belongings.
      • Do not go to the staff muster point on the pitches
Visitors requiring assistance
  • Visitors with hearing impairments, mobility issues, or other needs that may affect evacuation are encouraged to notify the Front Office in advance to agree PEEPs arrangements.
  • Whilst Coram’s Fields will seek to provide reasonable assistance where possible, visitors remain ultimately responsible for ensuring they can safely evacuate themselves, or with assistance from members of their party, in an emergency.
