Family Dance Day

Time: 10am – 5pm

For one day only, The Place is taking over Coram’s Fields with a jam-packed day of entertainment for the whole family!

The ever popular Family Dance Day returns with a new line up of FREE events and activities for children (aged 2-10 years) and their grown-ups.

Throughout the day there will be interactive storytelling, arts, crafts, dance workshops, plus shows specifically created for family audiences, with more to be announced soon:

Step Hop House by Folk Dance Remixed. A fresh, quirky, colourful and magical collision of traditional and Hip Hop dance and music, all developed into a high-energy, theatrical 30 minute professional performance offering a unique remix of Maypole, Clogging, Ceilidh, Street, House and Breakdance with a hint of African & Bollywood… to a live soundtrack of fiddle, banjo, percussion & beat boxing.
You Too Can Tutu is Gandini Juggling’s first-ever children’s show, blending the grace of
the album: skool edition is a joyous show about two friends making up dances in their playground, getting audiences to move, groove, and clap along

Interactive Storytelling with ShayShay. Join in from your seat with ShayShay in this interactive story time session! Watch, listen and join in the action as they read their favourite children’s stories! (Ages 0-5)
Dance Workshop. Enjoy a fun and interactive Dance workshop run by one of The Place’s brilliant workshop leaders (Ages 5+)
Craft Activities. All Day
