Join us for a joyful and jam-packed day of dance performances and activities created especially for children under 12 and their families. London’s most exciting family dance event of the year is completely free!
Performances include: BUGS!, where performers dressed as giant insects come to life in funny, funky dances inspired by the natural world, complete with live electronic music and playful sound effects; Prisma, a magical dance show inspired by children’s books, bursting with imagination; and finally, No Sugar No Milk, an exhilarating spectacle combining physical theatre, martial arts and circus stunts.
Plus, there will be interactive dance workshops running throughout the day to get your young dancers moving.
In the event of rain there’s plenty of room for shows to take place inside, just bring your wellies and rain coats for jumping in puddles.
If it’s a very hot day, we will have lots of water on hand and there’s plenty of shade in the park, there’s even a splash pool to cool off in.
Family Dance Day is a free day of activity at Coram’s Fields, organised by The Place.
Coram's Fields has offered a safe haven for children and young people since 1936.
The Place exists to develop, nurture and celebrate dance ideas and experiences for all.
