Under 5's Drop in Practitioner

Location: Coram’s Fields, Kings Cross
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary and Benefits: £14.71 per hour                                                          Contract: Permanent

Role Summary:   

Under 5s Drop In Practitioner ill be responsible for overseeing the work of our Under 5’s centre, implementing a wide range of creative programmes and services to support local families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and manage a range of programs and activities for children under 5, both at the center and utilizing site resources, tailored to children’s developmental needs.
  • Maintain accurate records, including attendance sheets and registration forms, for all service users.
  • Report safeguarding concerns and provide follow-up support to parents/carers and children as needed.
  • Oversee the daily opening and closing duties, as well as setting up and clearing rooms for programs.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication to support children’s individual needs and signpost to relevant services.
  • Ensure activity planning is culturally inclusive and aligns with the needs of families, and assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
