February Fun: Out of School Club Half Term Adventures!

Coram’s Fields School Holiday Play Scheme is set apart from any other as special and unique! Why? It provides children with seven acres of safe and wonderful park to play in, along with an adventure playground and outstanding sports facilities.

This February half-term was packed with non-stop fun and adventures, providing the children with hours of play and learning. Our OSC Manager, Kate, said, “We provide the opportunity for children to play freely in a safe and secure place and strongly advocate a child-centred approach with all activities. Our focus is all about them—putting their fun and development first in everything we do.” Our Play Scheme team also provide additional support on a one-to-one basis for those children with additional needs. The Coram’s Fields team packed the half-term week full of exciting trips and creative activities, with around 45 children from ages 4 to 12 joining every day.

Here’s what the children got up to,

  • Outside Play

Ice skating was the most popular, with the children gaining more confidence on the Ice throughout the session. The ice-skating penguin and snowman were a big hit, helping the children learn to skate safely and gain a lot of speed! At the Postal Museum, the children got to ride the Mail Rail and learn about the history and significance of the postal service.

Feedback from the children was that they ‘Enjoyed everything and had the most fun days ever!’ Another popular activity with the children was Coram’s Fields’ very own adventure playground, especially the play tower and zip wire. At Coram’s Fields, the Play Tower is perfect for all ages and abilities, ensuring everyone can play. It is very special to us as it is one of a kind in the heart of London!

We are so proud of our Holiday Playscheme; we strive to provide diverse activities and welcome children of all backgrounds, abilities, and needs. It provides a supportive environment where every child feels valued and included.

“My heartfelt gratitude for all your help with the holiday camp Kate. Girls enjoyed the activities and had a good time”.
