A Christmas Carol (And a Christmas Raffle!)

It’s the most magical time of the year to attend one of London’s most wonderful community events in the lead-up to the holidays.

Our fabulous friends, the traders of Lamb’s Conduit Street and Rugby Street, are once again holding their street Party – A Christmas Carol – on Thursday 6th December. From midday until 8pm, two of London’s finest Georgian streets and shopping destinations become even more charming.

Join in on a day of festive merriment, with abundant mulled wine, mince pies, cocktails and hot chestnuts available throughout. Time it right, and you’ll see a touch of celebrity stardust too.

At 2pm on Rugby Street, our Ambassador, Rupert Everrett, will be making some individuals very happy indeed, as he reprises his role to draw the tickets for the famed Ciao Bella and Lambs Conduit Street Traders Association Christmas Raffle.

Make sure you don’t miss out, as the prizes are spectacular and include:

1st prize £300 cash prize from Ciao Bella
2nd prize £250 voucher at Aesop
3rd prize Lunch & wine pairing at Noble Rot
Plus many more prizes.

Tickets are selling rapidly! Buy your tickets here now!

For a full list of prizes, please follow the link, or alternatively, you can buy tickets in most of the stores on Lambs Conduit Street and Rugby Street.

But don’t leave immediately after you’ve bagged yourself a luxury prize! Stick around for carol singing by the Chaps Choir, until 3pm, when a cast of sensational speakers give an unmissable public reading of Charles Dickens’ novel: A Christmas Carol. Confirmed readers are: Alexei Sayle, Jon Snow, Tim McInnerny, Alastair Steward, Michael Heath, Matt Frei, Prof. Laurie Taylor, Paul McNamara and many others.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued generosity of Ciao Bella and the traders of Lamb’s Conduit Street and Rugby Street. The proceeds raised from their Christmas raffle play a vital role in enabling us to continue to run our facilities and services.
