Corporate Citizenship in Action: The Global Brands Investing in our Community’s Future

On 21st May, Coram’s Fields will officially open its new Junior Play Zone:  a vibrant, inclusive space that will bring joy to thousands of children and families each year.

The project has been made possible through a collective effort from supporters across the community, including corporate partners who stepped forward at a critical moment to help bring the vision to life.

Investing in Children’s Futures

Longstanding supporters including SEFE Energy and Deckers Brands played a key role in helping provide the financial engine behind the build, continuing partnerships that have supported Coram’s Fields and its young people for a number of years.

SEFE Energy has supported multiple major projects and events across the charity, including sponsorship of the Play Tower before the new Junior Play Zone. The company also supported both Play Day and Fireworks Night last year and have confirmed sponsorship again for both events in 2026 – helping ensure thousands of children and families can continue accessing free community celebrations in central London.

Deckers Brands’ partnership has similarly grown over the years. Alongside contributing to the Play Zone, Deckers have already provided more than £10,000 worth of shoe vouchers and essential items for families affected by the cost-of-living crisis. Their teams have also supported young people through careers engagement, sports kit donations for the girls’ football team, volunteering opportunities and ongoing involvement in the life of the charity, including attending Coram’s Fields’ AGM each year.

The Play Zone has also introduced Coram’s Fields to new partners including Ambit and Splendid Hospitality, both of whom supported the project and are now exploring how they may continue supporting the charity and its wider work with children and young people in the future.

“Ambit is delighted to be working with Coram’s Fields, not just for the development of the new play areas, but to be a long-term partner, the work is inspiring and makes a huge impact on young lives.” Ambit said.

“We’re proud to support Coram’s Fields and the important work they do to provide a safe place for all children. We believe in making a positive impact in the communities we serve, and the new Junior Play Zone will make a real difference for families in the heart of London.” Splendid Hospitality said.

Together, these partnerships demonstrate the powerful role businesses can play in supporting children, families and community spaces in London.

On 21st May, supporters, families and young people will come together to celebrate not just a new play space, but the village of people and organisations that helped build it.
