On Thursday 6th September, we welcomed back Hogan Lovells Real Estate Department to Coram’s Fields for a day of volunteering. After a team briefing, their 70-strong team set to work to brush down the northern half of our east colonnade and our pavilion, before repainting the length of these iconic buildings. They were able to get two coats of paint on, before they set off at the end of the day. As our park users know well, these spaces were in urgent need of some love and care, and thanks to the dedicated efforts of these volunteers, these areas of the site are now looking sensational.
Corporate volunteering days are essential to enable us to maintain the facilities of Coram’s Fields to a high standard for our local community. Without the financial contribution and human power that companies like Hogan Lovells bring, we would not have the capacity to achieve this ourselves.
This is the second year in a row that the Hogan Lovells Real Estate Department volunteer with us, having done the preparatory work in our Wildlife Garden in 2017. We hope to see them again next year!
