What is Playday?
Playday is the national day for play, celebrated each year across the UK on the first Wednesday in August. Playday 2022 will be celebrated on Wednesday 3 August. It is the biggest play sector event in the UK, and possibly Europe! As well as a celebration of children’s right to play, Playday is a campaign that highlights the importance of play in children’s lives.
We’re celebrating in the usual way by hosting a free celebration here at Coram’s Fields in conjunction with Spread a Smile.
From 12pm to 4pm come along to enjoy activities including:
- Bouncy castle
- Giant Slide
- Sumo Suits
- Entertainment
- Face painting
- Popcorn
- Slushies
- Candy floss
- Plus much more!
