The Bloomsbury Winter Hootenanny 2019

On the 16th of November, Coram’s Fields hosted the first Bloomsbury Winter Hootenanny in aid of Coram’s Fields and the Dosoco Foundation.

The acclaimed music collective We Are Sound, a Cambridge based group of more than 100 singers performed a number of festival-favourite tracks by brilliant bands such as Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Coldplay, Billie Eilish and Bombay Bicycle Club to an audience of nearly 400 people that had people singing and dancing in the aisles!

Described by the press as a “harmonic phenomenon bursting onto the scenes like a firecracker” and by its growing fan-base as ‘explosive’, ‘thrilling’ and ‘a tour de force’, the evening was a wonderful and heart-warming occasion supported by Awesome Events who are the events company behind the Bloomsbury Big Top.

Dosoco supports music related projects which have the power to unlock people’s worlds and have a positive social impact as a result. These identified areas are music therapy, music access, music education and the innovative use of sound and music for social good.
