Running for Coram’s Fields

Thank you Rebecca, Masika, Jessica, Melanie and Jasmine!

This October, 5 people took on incredible challenges and have raised over £4,000 (and counting!) for Coram’s Fields.

The London Marathon

Masika and Rebecca both took part in the world famous London Marathon on Sunday 3rd October as part of 35,300 runners, 889 days after the last event in the capital. The 26.2 mile course meandered from Greenwich to Westminster.

We were so proud to have had such an inspiring team represent us. Read more about what made them take on the challenge.

“It’s so nice to be able to raise money for a charity that puts children and the community at the forefront of their mission to make the community for young people a better place by providing so many services.” – Masika

The Royal Parks Half Marathon

Jessica, Melanie and Jasmine all started their race on The Mall to complete 13.1 miles for Coram’s Fields on Sunday 10th October. Running through some of London’s other spectacular green spaces including Hyde Park, The Green Park and St James’s Park there were unforgettable views along way.

Making a lasting difference

Funds raised through our team’s challenges go towards running and maintaining our seven-acre park for our community and providing our vital services. As a local charity, we rely on donations and fundraising to support local children, young people and families. The awesome efforts of Rebecca, Masika, Jessica, Melanie and Jasmine will help to ensure that we can continue to be here for those who need us most.

“We love that Coram’s Fields is all about inclusion and it welcomes everyone with open arms”
